AppliedTrust - sponsor interview

What does your company do and how do you work with Drupal?
Based in Boulder, Colorado, AppliedTrust provides customized and
practical infrastructure, security, and opensource solutions. We consult
to a variety of industries, including healthcare, financial services,
hospitality, recreation, and government. We love Drupal, and we are
excited to be a molybdenum sponsor of this year’s DrupalCamp Colorado!

How did you first get involved in Drupal?
Since AppliedTrust was founded in 2001, we have been strong promoters of
open source solutions. In the past couple of years, Drupal has joined
the ranks of Linux, Apache, and MySQL as enterprise-ready, best-in-class
software. As Drupal has grown from a web CMS to an application
platform, our clients have begun to recognize it for what it is – an
essential enterprise IT tool.

What type of work and/or websites do you specialize in?
Through our focus on infrastructure, we help companies tackle
challenging security, performance, and availability problems. Whether
it's scaling the Kentucky Derby web site to handle tremendous seasonal
traffic or helping an e-commerce company become PCI compliant, we're the
folks to turn to when the going gets tough.

What are you most looking forward to at DrupalCamp Colorado this year?
We're excited about our session on Sunday at 9:45 a.m., but even more
than that we're excited about the Friday and Saturday night parties!!
Webchick's talk is, of course, not to be missed!

Is there anything else you'd like our attendees to know?
Please say "hi" if you see us at the Camp, or leave a note on our blog
The Barking Seal (barkingseal.com). Also, the Boulder Drupal meetups
are currently being held at our office, so please join us next month to
keep the Drupal community fun going!
