WebEnabled - sponsor interview

What does your company do and how do you work with Drupal?
We provide a development, staging, and production hosting platform for Drupal and other open source applications like Wordpress, Joomla, and Magento.

With WebEnabled (WE), a Drupal site can be automatically setup for you under a minute. The site automatically gets a webenabled.net URL and comes pre-installed with Drush, phpMyAdmin, SVN, and Git. You also get full SSH and SCP/SFTP access.

WE lets you clone your Drupal sites (for creating testing and parallel dev environments) under different URLs and allows you to invite other developers and themers to collaborate with you on site development.

One-click back and restore of sites is also available in addition to the scheduled nightly backups.

You can run up to two sites on WE for FREE under the trial plan... To sign up, go to https://www.webenabled.com/plans-and-pricing.

How did you first get involved in Drupal?
We started using Drupal when it was in its infancy. We used it to build custom websites for clients.

We built WE because we needed an application to manage the build out of client websites. We looked for a tool but didn't find anything suitable so we rolled our own :-) We figured that if we needed this, others like us could also use it.

What type of work and/or websites do you specialize in?
There are two things we specialize in:
1) we help companies setup training environments with admin, trainer, and student accounts on WE
2) We help companies setup their development, testing, staging, production, and fail-over environments and evaluate different hosting options based on their needs

What are you most looking forward to at DrupalCamp Colorado this year?
Seeing all my Drupal friends again and making some new friends :-)

Is there anything else you'd like our attendees to know?
Yeah, go to http://www.webenabled.com/v2 and signup to preview the next major release of WebEnabled.
